Volunteering at Eva's Initiatives
Volunteers can make a significant contribution in the lives of homeless and at-risk youth by playing a key role in the programs and services that Eva's Initiatives provides and reducing operational costs.

Third Party Events
Third Party Fundraising Events help to provide essential funds needed to deliver the innovative programs and services at Eva's Initiatives. Fundraising events can range from hosting a dinner for friends and asking for donations in lieu of host gifts, to organizing a corporate golf tournament in benefit of Eva's Initiatives.
A new third party event in 2005, Bowling For Youth raised over $7,400 in pledges from 50 participants. Everyone had so much fun that it was agreed that this would become an annual fundraiser. This year's event will take place on Sunday, November 5 from 1pm-4pm at Playtime Bowl. Participants are expected to each raise a minimum of $100 in donations. To register a new team or join an existing one, contact Volunteer Services below.
Eva's Initiatives offers a Third Party Event kit, available for free upon request, which has guidelines and tips that will ensure your fundraiser is a success. We can also provide brochures and donation forms, upon approval of your fundraising event by Eva's Initiatives. The following are popular fundraisers that are relatively easy to organize:
- Office Olympics (team building fundraising events)
- Golf Tournament
- Other Tournaments: beach volleyball, board game challenge, bowling, billiards, hockey
- Party With A PurposeŠ: i.e. host a wine tasting dinner, office or social holiday party
- Corporate commissions/profits donation day
- Dress-Down/Casual Days
- Bake sale, barbeque, potluck luncheon, brown bag day
- Car wash, garage sale
- School pledged walks, coin drives, bottle recycling drives
- 50/50 Draw or office raffles/auction
- Encourage social responsibility with a Monthly Donor Program or a Corporate Matching Gift Program
